Arizona doesn't wear a roof out slowly.

A roof rated for 25 years in Ohio can be tired at 15 here. The damage rarely shows from the street — it shows up as a ceiling stain in August.

160°F

Sun bakes the layer you can't see.

On a July afternoon, roof surfaces in the Valley run far hotter than the air. Tile itself lasts decades, but the felt underlayment beneath it dries, cracks and stops shedding water — usually somewhere between year 15 and 25.

Monsoon finds every weak seam.

Wind-driven rain and hail push water sideways under flashing, vents and slipped tiles — in a single afternoon.

Haboob dust clogs the exits.

Fine dust packs valleys, scuppers and drains, so the next storm pools on flat and low-slope roofs instead of running off.

The Phoenix roofing year — and the best time to call
  • Inspect & repair · Mar–May
  • Peak heat & UV · May–Sep
  • Monsoon · Jun 15–Sep 30

Repair first. Replace only when it's time.

Most calls we take end in a repair, not a new roof. If replacement is the honest answer, we'll show you why with photos from your own roof.

Ask what your roof needs
  • Leak & storm repair

Leak tracing, flashing and vent repair, slipped or cracked tile, and emergency tarping after monsoon storms.

All roof types · Often same week

  • Tile underlayment replacement

We lift your existing tile, replace the worn underlayment with a high-temp membrane, and relay the tile — a new roof's protection without paying for new tile.

Concrete & clay tile · 2–4 days typical

  • Shingle reroof

Full tear-off and replacement with heat-rated, wind-rated shingles and new ventilation to keep the attic cooler.

Asphalt shingle · 1–2 days typical

  • Foam roofing & recoats

Spray polyurethane foam for flat and low-slope roofs, plus elastomeric recoats that reflect sun and extend the life of what you have.

    Flat & low-slope · Recoat every 5–10 yrs

The quote is in writing. The deadline doesn't exist.

What you get

  • An owner-trained inspector, not a salesperson on commission.
  • Photos of your actual roof — every problem we flag, you can see.
  • An itemized written quote with materials and warranty spelled out.
  • Our own crews, licensed under the Arizona ROC, start to finish.

What you won't get

  • "Sign today" discounts or pressure to decide on the spot.
  • A full reroof pitched when a repair will do.
  • Out-of-state storm chasers who vanish after the check clears.

Two other companies told us we needed a whole new roof. Desert Peak found the actual leak — a cracked flashing boot — fixed it that week, and never once tried to upsell us.

Denise R. · Chandler

After the August storm we had broken tile everywhere. They tarped it the next morning and the final bill matched the written quote to the dollar.

Marcus T. · Mesa

They explained our foam roof recoat in plain English and sent photos before and after. Easy decision.

Questions we hear every week.

Something else? Email us and a real person will answer.

How soon can you inspect my roof?

Usually within the same week you call — sooner for active leaks. We give you a two-hour window and call when we're on the way.

Is the inspection really free?

Yes. You get a full inspection, photos and a written summary at no cost, with no obligation to book any work.

My tile looks fine. Could I still have a problem?

Possibly. Tile can look perfect while the underlayment beneath it has failed. If your roof is 15+ years old, it's worth a look before monsoon season.

Do you work with insurance claims?

We document storm and hail damage with dated photos and a report you can send to your insurer, and we're glad to meet your adjuster on site.

What warranty do you offer?

Repairs carry a 2-year workmanship warranty. Reroofs carry 10 years on workmanship, plus the manufacturer's material warranty.

Get eyes on your roof before the monsoon does.
